Green Onion Cream Cheese Spread

This is a very simple and basic recipe for Green Onion Cream Cheese Spread. Surprisingly flavorful, this spread is a hit at any gathering and one of our most requested recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Green OnionsĀ  *
  • 8oz. Block of Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2 to 4 teaspsoons of Accent SeasoningĀ  **

Clean and very thinly slice green onions. Add softened block of cream cheese to a medium size bowl. Add green onions and Accent Seasoning. Stir well to blend. Place in container and refrigerate at least one hour. Serve with your favorite crackers.

* Use more or less green onion to taste. This is just the amount that I use.
** Use more or less Accent to taste. The original recipe calls for 2 tsp. however I tend to use a little more for flavor. Use your own discretion.

When making this recipe for a crowd, you will want to double or triple the recipe.
