Beer Bread

Beer bread has been a long time favorite in our household. The heavy texture and yeasty, sweet flavor of this bread goes with just about anything and is a great way to get rid of an extra beer or two that may have been in the fridge a while.

Ingredients:

  • 3  -  Cups of Self-rising Flour
  • 1  -  Can of Beer
  • 3 Tablespoons of Sugar

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

You can also use this batter to make rolls. Just grease and fill the cups of a muffin pan about 3/4 full and bake for 1 hour. Best served fresh from the oven, but also great left over.
